Art at Castleton:
Castleton believes that art is a vital part of children’s education and has a significant and valuable role in the curriculum. The art curriculum will develop children’s basic skills to enable them to express themselves and build their confidence. The range of experiences our children have will allow them to develop a critical eye for their own work and the work of others. In addition, children will have the freedom to explore different techniques without the fear of making mistakes. Children will have the opportunity to explore our values of kindness, curiosity and courage throughout all their art lessons.
