Welcome!
The school gates will open at 8:45am, with the classroom doors to open at 8:50am, ready for children to begin their learning promptly.
The gates will close at 9:00am and any children arriving after this time will need to sign in at the main office.
Our school day ends at 3:20pm. The school gates will open at 3:15pm and parents are welcomed onto the site to collect their child(ren) from their classrooms.
This equates to 32.5 hours in a week, Monday to Friday 8:50 until 15:20.

Get ready for an action-packed holiday! Castleton Primary School’s legendary playscheme is back for Easter, Summer, and Christmas-and it’s bigger and better than ever! Your child will dive into an epic mix of sports, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and thrilling activities. But that’s not all-amazing trips are lined up to make each holiday even more exciting! And don’t worry about food-we’ve got it covered! A delicious breakfast and a hot lunch will keep your child fuelled for all the fun. Don’t let them miss out on the ultimate holiday experience!

How much sleep do children need?
For our final post on Sleep Awareness, we are sharing information about how much sleep children need at different ages, and a sleep diary.
We will be promoting further ideas and support in September, as part of the Sleep charity's campaign, to ensure good sleep habits in the new school year.
